In California, vehicles including
trailers can be no greater than 65 feet
long, 13 ˝ feet high, and 102 inches wide.
To meet that standard, it was
necessary to limit the height of the
Orchestra Balcony to 28 inches high.
For safety balconies should have
rails at least 42 inches high.
To deal with the need of having
taller Orchestra balcony railings when
people are on the balcony, the above
Orchestra Balcony Extensions have been
designed.
For example, when the Side Extensions
are slide in place, they will add an
additional 14 inches to the height of the
side balcony rails.
For the front of the vehicle, a
42 inch balcony extension has been designed. When the Mobile Church is being used in a parade,
this taller front balcony extension will
enable individuals to stand on the top of
the front outdoor speaker box and still have
the safety of a 42 inch balcony in front of
them.
